- Carpenter & Faulkner travel 16 days from the beginning of their journey (Paraclete's Gulch area?) to Marcel’s Crossing.[1] Notes: They travel by car, but presumably are slowed by several factors. stopping often to "bird watch", driving on unpaved roads, and meandering to avoid the authorities.
- Stewardess Acantha says that Lych-House is "About a hundred miles south-west of Glottage."[2]
